Drug Testing
Job Description:
The provider will conduct drug testing on individuals suspected of drug use or abuse by DCS case managers or the courts. This may involve immediate or scheduled tests using urine, hair, and/or nail samples to determine the presence, level, or absence of drugs.
Qualifications:
- Licensed as a medical doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- Well-informed about substance abuse disorders with some clinical experience.
- Knowledgeable of laboratory testing procedures and chain of custody collection procedures.
- Certified by a nationally recognized MRO certification board.
- The provider and its drug testing analysts must be in compliance with state and federal licensing and certification requirements.
- Trained to perform various drug testing procedures and to collect different kinds of specimens.
